We'd like to welcome you and your child to

the St Columba's family. Come along and

see what makes our Early Years experience

so very special.

Early Years in the Countryside
Happy Days

Nestled in the idyllic village of Kilmacolm, St Columba's School offers an idyllic, safe environment in which to learn and, of course, have lots of fun!  Every day is a busy one, with the children enjoying games and outdoor experiences alongside structured learning times. We also offer specialist teaching in French, Physical Education, Music and Drama.

We nurture talents and interests in every child from the very beginning of their time here, ensuring that they are provided with a 'home from home' experience from the outset. All day, our 3 and 4 year olds are looked after by a team of experienced Early Years Practitioners led by a Junior School Class Teacher - and every opportunity is seen as a learning one!  We play games and create activities designed to maximise your child's potential, working with you to let your child learn, play and grow in confidence.

Our taster sessions are the perfect way to introduce your child to the St Columba's family.

Please bring your child along to see us soon – and together you will discover what makes our Early Years experience so very special.

The core period of Early Years learning

is from 8.30am to 12.30pm daily.

Wraparound Care is also available for

children from age 3, from 7.45am

until 6pm
so now learning can be

fun all day!

Outdoor fun is very much the order of the day at

St Columba's! We believe it has a huge part to play in

nurturing your child's love of learning, which is why we are

developing our wooded playground over the coming

months, investing nearly £500,000 in a state-of-the-art

outdoor play area to maximise our country setting. At Early

Years we have our own designated play space that can be

used every day throughout the year. We encourage lots

of outdoor discovery and fun!
